Whale Tracking
Monitor large trades, track top trader performance, and follow smart money flows across prediction markets.
Overview
The Whale Tracking page provides real-time visibility into what the biggest and most successful traders are doing. By tracking smart money, you can identify high-conviction bets before the broader market moves.
Features
Live Whale Feed
The whale feed shows large trades ($10,000+) as they happen:
- Trader wallet: Anonymized wallet address
- Market: The prediction market being traded
- Side: Buy or Sell
- Size: Number of shares and USD value
- Timestamp: When the trade occurred
The feed updates automatically every 10 seconds with new activity.
Whale Alert
Trades over $50,000 trigger a highlighted whale alert banner at the top of the feed, ensuring you never miss a major move.
Top Trader Leaderboard
Track the most successful prediction market traders ranked by:
- Profit & Loss (PnL): Total realized profits
- Win Rate: Percentage of profitable positions
- Volume: Total trading volume
- Rank: Overall performance ranking
Filter the leaderboard by time period: 7 days, 30 days, or all time.
Smart Money Flow
See the net buying and selling activity of top traders for each market:
- Net flow: Whether smart money is buying or selling on aggregate
- Per-market breakdown: Which markets are attracting the most capital
- Flow direction: Visual bar chart showing buy vs. sell pressure
When top traders overwhelmingly agree on one side of a market, it can signal strong conviction. Use this alongside AI signals for higher-confidence decisions.
How to Use Whale Tracking
1. Monitor the Feed
Keep an eye on the live feed for large trades. When you see a whale buying into a market, it may indicate inside knowledge or strong conviction.
2. Check the Leaderboard
Identify consistently profitable traders. When a top-ranked trader makes a move, it carries more weight than a random large trade.
3. Combine with AI Signals
The most powerful signals come from combining whale activity with AI mispricing detection:
- AI says market is underpriced + whales are buying = strong signal
- AI says market is overpriced + whales are selling = strong signal
Data & Methodology
Whale data is sourced from:
- On-chain transaction monitoring (Polygon for Polymarket)
- CLOB (Central Limit Order Book) trade history
- Wallet profiling based on historical performance
Privacy
All wallet addresses are publicly available on-chain. We do not collect or expose any private information.
